A Final Note
Healthcare is one of the most human things we do. It is what we build when we decide that a society should care for its sick. AI will change how that care is delivered. It will not change the fact that what patients need, at the most fundamental level, is to be seen and helped by people who know what they are doing and act in their best interests.
The goal of this course has not been to make you enthusiastic about AI, or afraid of it. It has been to start you on a path to enough understanding to participate in the discussions that will determine what AI in healthcare actually becomes.
